The youth athletic program focuses on developing your child in a long-term approach. We want to create a foundation of correct technique on functional strength movements, foot work, running technique and all other movements critical in being a high-level athlete. We will focus on balance, eye-hand coordination, running technique, foot work patterns, core, aerobic/anaerobic capacities, overall functional strength and mobility. We believe, at 2WTraining a fundament component to being an elite athlete is maintaining your functionality and flexibility of your joints and all the athletic movements you make

  • Body Awareness and Coordination, having kids learn how to move their body efficiently and properly

  • Balance, as its a huge component of tennis, you need to be stable when you are in unstable positions

  • Footwork, coordinated and efficient movement through multi-directional footwork patterns

  • Overall strength, Increasing the overall body strength through Functional Training, which will consist of body weight strength and sports specific movements

  • Core, core is vital in every sport if you don’t have a strong core you won’t be able to maintain strength through out a movement, emphasis will be on rotational core exercises, as tennis is a very rotational sports
